Dushasana

Duryodhana's brother, who dragged Draupadi into the assembly hall and was killed by Bhima.

Introduction

Dushasana is the second of the hundred Kaurava brothers and a close ally of Duryodhana.

Family

The assembly

After the dice game, Dushasana dragged Draupadi by her hair into the assembly and tried to disrobe her. She was saved, in the tradition, by Krishna's intervention. Bhima vowed to kill him and drink his blood.

Death

On the sixteenth day of the war, Bhima fulfilled his vow and killed Dushasana on the battlefield.
