Introduction
Yuyutsu is a son of Dhritarashtra by a Vaishya wife, and half-brother of Duryodhana. He is the only son of Dhritarashtra to survive the war.

Changing sides
Before the fighting began, Yudhishthira invited any Kaurava who wished to join the Pandavas. Yuyutsu came over.
After the war
He was made a minister by Yudhishthira, and looked after the state when the Pandavas left. He served Parikshit.
