Introduction

Vajrajvala is the wife of Kumbhakarna, the brother of Ravana. According to the Uttara Kanda, she was a granddaughter of Vairochana, and she is the mother of Kumbha and Nikumbha.

In the Uttara Kanda's account of Ravana's family, after Ravana settled in Lanka, he married Mandodari, Kumbhakarna married Vajrajvala, and Vibhishana married Sarama.
