Sanjaya is the minister and charioteer of Dhritarashtra. He is the narrator of the Bhagavad Gita and of the Kurukshetra war.
Divine sight
Vyasa gave Sanjaya divine vision, so that he could see the entire war from Hastinapura and report to the blind king.
Survivor
He survived the war, and went with Dhritarashtra to the forest.
