The story

Galava wanted to give his teacher, Vishvamitra, eight hundred horses of a special kind. He went to King Yayati, who gave him his daughter Madhavi, who was to bear a son to each king who paid for her. She married Haryashva of Ayodhya, Divodasa of Kashi and Ushinara, and finally the sage Vishvamitra himself, and each marriage produced a son.
