Introduction
Akampana is a Rakshasa warrior who survived the massacre of Janasthana and told Ravana what had happened. He advised him to abduct Sita.
The advice
After the destruction of Khara's army, Akampana escaped to Lanka and told Ravana that Rama could not be defeated in battle, but that if Sita was abducted, Rama would die of grief.
Death
Akampana later fought in the war and was killed by Hanuman.
