Introduction
Subahu is a Rakshasa, the son of Tataka and Sunda, and the brother of Maricha. He is not the same person as Shatrughna's son of the same name.

The attack
Subahu and Maricha attacked Vishwamitra's sacrifice by showering blood and flesh on the altar. Rama killed Subahu with a fire weapon and hurled Maricha away with another.
