The Human Husband in a Divine Conception
The text gives Rauser himself little active role beyond establishing Reddjedet's household and social position; the narrative's focus is squarely on Ra's desire for sons who will become kings, and on Reddjedet's difficult, divinely assisted labor, in a pattern that recurs across many cultures' myths of a mortal woman bearing a god's child within a nominally ordinary marriage.
This article records a specific literary or theological role — a king-list entry, a court tale, or a royal legitimation narrative — rather than the deity's or ruler's fuller religious identity, which (where applicable) is covered in the separate Egyptian Pantheon project.
