Historical Notes

Note: Kept in a separate family from the 'Second Pandya Empire' rulers below: Kadungon's revival (~590 CE) is roughly 600 years earlier than the empire's 13th-century resurgence under Maravarman Kulasekara I and successors. An earlier version of this file placed him in the same family as those later rulers, which was a chronological error now corrected.
